Jubail Port: Total Tonnage of Cargo Handled in the First Four Months of the year 2013

In the first four months of the year 2013, Jubail Commercial Port achieved an increase in the total tonnage of handled cargo which is estimated at 2.872.667 million tons in comparison with 2.212.163 million tons in the same period of the year 2012, a rise of 30%.

The total tonnage of general cargo exports and imports also increased, and it was estimated at 1.359.994 million tons in comparison with 957.870 Million Tons in 2012, a rise of 39%.

The total tonnage of bulk cargo also increased and it was estimated at 899.988 Million tons in comparison with 679.570 Tons in 2012, a rise of 32.5%.

The Total number of TEUs is estimated at 97.033 TEUs in comparison with 75.275 TEUs in 2012, a rise of 29%.

Finally, the total number of arriving ships to Jubail Commercial Port in the first four months of 2013 is estimated at 244 ships in comparison with 187 ships in the same period of the year 2012, a rise of 22%.
