HMM Appoints Yoo Chang-Keun as the New President and CEO

On March 22nd, HMM held its 37th general shareholders' meeting and appointed President Yoo Chang Keun an inside director.  Mr Yoo was also named the new President and CEO by the Board of Directors. [Mr. Yoo became President in November 2012.]

HMM commented, “With this new appointment, HMM expects to see an improvement in sales force effectiveness and greater profitability. President and CEO Yoo and the company's expert outside directors will fulfil their corporate, social and environmental responsibilities by implementing ethical and transparent management practices.”

President and CEO Yoo Chang-Keun joined HMM in 1986 and served with HMM until 2008. He became head of HMM EHQ in 2002, and head of the Liner Unit in 2006. Between 2008 and 2010, the new President and CEO was the President of Haeyoung Maritime Services, a subsidiary of HMM.
